The Excellence in Non-Clinical Services Award

The Excellence in Non-Clinical Services Award recognises those who have provided outstanding support, advice and direction in non-clinical services. It acknowledges improved policies, processes and efficiencies supporting the delivery of high-quality health care and improved outcomes for consumers.

The Telehealth Initiative Team

The Corporate Services Administration Team is being recognised for its adaptability and person-centred approach in delivering the Telehealth Service via Health Direct during COVID-19.

Telehealth has had significant impact, ensuring service delivery and patient care was not compromised.

Finalists:

COVID-19 Administration Support Team

The Corporate Administration Services Team is being recognised for professionalism and teamwork in providing staffing, equipment and administrative workflows to support the COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics.

This required recruitment, training, and preparation of 50 staff. The team developed workflows, trained in IT systems and developed rosters to ensure the clinics were adequately staffed.

Short Message Service Team

The Corporate Administration Services Team is being recognised for excellence in supporting high-quality health care for the expansion of SMS messaging across the Outpatient Department.

This has allowed the delivery of more accurate and timely communication to consumers and played a significant role in supporting the organisation during COVID-19.

The SMS function has become a main mode of communication with our consumers, sending more than 1 million messages.
