The Orthoptic Team
The Orthoptic Team is recognised for its contribution to improving the way we provide care for our consumers within the Ophthalmology Department.
Since 2018, the team has facilitated the effective coordination of a secondary vision screening service in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
This has resulted in 137 children receiving services closer to home who would have otherwise attended the Emergency Department.

The Child and Adolescent Brain Injury Rehab Service
The statewide Child and Adolescent Brain Injury Rehab Service (CABIRS) is a multidisciplinary program providing education, support, assessment and therapeutic care for children and adolescents who sustain mild-moderate traumatic head injury/concussion.
The team behind CABIRS is being recognised for its holistic and multidisciplinary approach which is minimising pressure on our Emergency Department and improving consumer outcomes
