The Working Group consists of Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal staff members who are passionate about addressing racism across our services for our consumers and staff.
The focus has been on actioning change through the development of the evidence based Zero Tolerance to Racism Campaign and Enduring Strategy, which is the first of its kind across SA Health.
The Dual Naming Project
The team behind the Dual Naming Project is being recognised for its diligent work, in partnership with the Kaurna Warra Karrpanthi (KWK) language group, to translate almost 30 place names across the Women’s and Children’s Hospital into Kaurna language.
This project aims to acknowledge the strong connection to country of our Aboriginal staff and consumers and pays respect to the traditional owners of the land on which our hospital stands.
