The Excellence in Non-Clinical Services Award 2024

WCHN Awards 2024 feature

This award recognises those that provide outstanding support, advice and direction in non-clinical services. It acknowledges improved policies, processes and efficiencies that support the delivery of high-quality health care.

ICT Applications Team

The Information Communication and Technology Applications team provide relevant data and innovations to our leadership team, that act as catalysts to ongoing quality improvements. Their engagement and commitment to enhance patient care has been pivotal to the growth and success of the virtual services.

iLearn Learning Management System (LMS) Team

The iLearn Learning Management System team have been instrumental to the successful roll out of our Learning Management System pilot. The new platform centralised learning records, allowing staff to easily access and manage their training. The implementation made vital contributions to the Network’s successful accreditation rating.

Outpatient Reform Team

Outpatient appointment communication and clinic waitlist systems have been transformed by this team to significantly reduce patients’ ‘failure to attend’ rate and decrease wait times. The change contributed an additional 700-800 appointments being available every month, representing a significant improvement in accessing care.
