The CEO Award for Excellence in Healthcare

WCHN Awards 2023 Header

All finalists are nominated in this category, with the winner chosen by the CEO of WCHN, Lindsey Gough.

Lindsey is recognising overall excellence in healthcare at the Network. The award recognises projects or people who have designed and implemented innovations that demonstrate multiple benefits such as improved quality of care, increased efficiency, environmental impacts, population health outcomes and person and family centred care.

WCH Foundation Laklinyeri Beach House

Since 2019, this purpose built beach house has provided over 110 families with children who have complex medical needs or life-limiting conditions an opportunity to have a safe holiday together. Located in Encounter Lakes, it offers a non-clinical, home-like environment for these families, with the option of having in-house care workers present. It is fully equipped and accessible to cater to their specific medical requirements.
